Let’s start the tutorial. First, import the Photoshop image we want to change. If you follow the tutorial step by step, you can download the image I used: freccetricolore.jpg

Delete the background (the sky) to work quietly on the subject that interests us: the planes and their contrails of color. Click on Select > Color Range

a2

a3

Delete the background. Then Duplicate the layer (layer), select the top layer and invert the selection

a4

a5

Now you can paint the duplicated layer as desired.

a6

I use the colors of LiberArs

a7

a8

Below you can see the result, now change the Blend Mode from Normal a Color. Then we add a new background to the project. I have Elected representation of space.

a9

a10

You can also color the planes at the same level (layer) where you color the rest

a11

Then we can add a text

a12

and apply a Layer Effect by right-clicking the text layer. Then choose Outer Glow with green and Blending Mode: Overlay.

a13

Then I added LiberArs logo as mask of an image (the face of the child) using the technique shown in the last part of the previous tutorial that you can find here: How to create a cool font graphic poster advertising.
